She/He/They

Hi there! I’m Cass. I started at Algonquin in 2020 and over five years of working through online classes, health scares, the dissolving and replacing of one entire course halfway through taking it, and three different groups of classmates, I’ve managed to keep my passion for graphic design alive. I’m thrilled to be graduating with this amazing group of talented folks and hope to move forward with the same perseverance and passion for my work that’s gotten me this far.

Motion Reel

In creating my motion reel, I wanted to highlight not only my best, but some of my favourite pieces of motion work I’ve created over the years. The opening is a snippet from a kinetic type assignment from my first motion graphics class; the first project that got me really excited about motion.

KAPOW & Standing O

I chose to design a set of beers themed around some of my favourite Ottawa events and activities. The KAPOW Kölsch is based on Ottawa Comiccon and Standing O, a blueberry Lemon Sour, is designed to celebrate the Orpheus Musical Theatre Company.

The Watering Can

For this project, I decided to rebrand one of my favourite businesses: The Watering Can Flower Market in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The shop has a very distinct style; very overgrown and eclectic with funky displays all throughout the place, and I felt it deserved a logo and brand style that spoke to that.
