The Story Of A Black Girls Hair

This animation shows the complex relationship of a young Black girl with her hair exploring how something cherished as unique and extraordinary in childhood can be distorted by external opinions as we grow older. It features audio from creator Shanspeare on YouTube, where she explains why Black women’s hair, particularly in North America, is so much more than 'just hair'.

Imagination Explorers

Imagination Explorers is an outdoor children’s festival in Ottawa offering fun, adventurous, and educational activities and games. This event brings children’s fantastical ideas about their present and future to life, transforming them into practical and engaging experiences that inspire creativity and curiosity. The visuals for the branding are fun and whimsical to target children and their creative minds, featuring character illustrations and a mascot.

Echo

Echo is a music streaming and community app designed to bring people together through their shared love of music. Users can stream their favourite tracks, share their tastes and preferences, rate and review music, and explore the music choices of friends and peers. The design blends fun, hand drawn illustrations and icons with a clean, easy to navigate interface.
