Hi! Nice to meet you! My name’s Rick and I’m a Jack-of-all-trades who specializes in motion and adding a bold style to my projects! Anytime I tackle a project, I try to use as many non-digital pieces within them (Eg. photocopy, stamps, texture etc.) Even if you need something technical done, I’m right there! Let’s get technical!
One of my first big projects within school, this was where we had to make a mock event and come up with different layouts (Print Poster, Email save the date, etc.). The initial design was drawn on a promo sticker from my old job, and a gel pen, which let the “Magic Mojo” flow through my fingers and make something amazing! After that it was a case of vectorizing, printing on cardstock, photocopying and distressing the logo for that real punk feel!
This was me building on a previous project, where I had to make advertising for some can designs I had made! This was my first time dipping my toes into 3d animation, and I think that it turned out very nice! Learning new tools for design (Motion, especially!) is what makes this industry really rewarding for me! Website: rickdunnett.me
